Wrapped Vehicles (wrap-ed ve-hi-cles)

is the practice of completely covering (wrapping) a vehicle in an advertisement. Large vehicles effectively become ‘mobile billboards’. This is achieved by use of large vinyl sheets or decals. These can be removed with relative ease, making it much less expensive to change from one advertisement to another. Vehicles with large, flat surfaces, such as buses and trains are fairly easy to work with, though smaller cars with curved surfaces can also be wrapped in this manner, too. The customized overall design of this format provides eye-catching attention, promotional value and makes a statement about the advertiser. This format reaches both pedestrian and vehicular traffic and provides market penetration by traveling throughout the target region.

Brand Marketers wrapped vehicles add a large visual presence to campaigns.
